Don't Feel Deep Sorrow

Don't Feel Deep Sorrow

Don't look a bit run-down,
Life has its ups and downs.

World is full of good and bad,
All are not foe, don't go mad.

Let's face the facts,
Things are not all cracked.

Let's clean up our acts,
Don't stick to the facts.

Hey my dear! Don't be woeful,
With grief, life is meaningful.

In weeping we take refuge, tops,
Flowers freshened with dew drops.

Life is a tale of woe,
Don't feel deep sorrow,
Life has its own shadow,
Don't make it taboo.

Too many are alone like you,
The many suffer wounds of time as you,
Don't feel deep sorrow,
Don't kick up a row.

Heaven is for us tomorrow,
See God, don't you know?

Leave the world up to God,
Pray for world side by side.

1. I found this poem interesting because I have always felt everyone can be pessismistic and people seem to forget the true joy of life. I learned from this poem because I always let the littlest things bug me and in the poem he told me to let go and understand that life brings you ups and downs but not all things are horrible in your life. I found this poem interesting because in most poems that I have read are about a devastation where this poem is telling you to not let that devastation get you down.
2. The title of this poem was called Don't Feel Deep Sorrow. I liked this title because before I read the poem I was intrigued to see what it had to say. The author, Samaneh wanted us to know what we should take from this poem in the simplist words.
3.
In weeping we take refuge, tops,
Flowers freshened with dew drops.
Samaneh used a metaphor. He brought more meaning into the poem because he referenced life to a flower, and with our dew drop 'problems' we dampered the flower.

4. The tone of this poem was almost informational. He told you upfront what not to do when life brings you down.
